stocktake

On Monday, Tuesday AND Wednesday nights, 3-10pm I’ve been working stocktake at Target. Stocktake is like the most tedious, torturous, painful thing you could imagine, both physically and emotionally, but at the same time it’s the most fun I’ve ever had at work. Plus I’ve had McDonalds for dinner 3 nights in a row. What more could a girl want? Talking about stocktake with other people who’ve done it in person is a lot more fun than typing about it, and I’m sure it’s a million times more fun than reading about. I’m sorry for wasting your time.

Oh, and turns out Jenny, one of our managers, is a bitch — no one saw that one coming.

it’s good to be alive

last night I almost died. let me explain. I was wearing these relatively slippery shoes and was running through the house and I slipped and fell backwards and according to my sister, missed the bench top by about a centimetre. I lived to tell the tale.

also, today I was wearing my Stella McCartney jeans and said “hey Lia, do you like my stellar jeans?” — how’s that for a pun?

1. snooze – this morning I pressed the snooze button from 7:00-9:30. that’s 150 divided by 9 which is approximately 16 times.

2. door close – in lifts. it saves a heck of a lot of time and it’s fun to shut doors on people trying to get into the lift.

3. login – any login button on the internet is amazing. logging in can equal emails, new photos or comments or videos or anything, really.

4. right click – opens up a world of possibilities. cut, copy, paste. save picture as, open with and many many more.

5. take – the one that lets me take photos on my camera. pretty self explanatory, I find.

happy times

I love the june/july holidays because they are just like the summer holidays in that I have no work to do because my subjects are changing completely. I haven’t had a holiday in sydney in such a long time so I’m really excited to catch up with people I haven’t seen in forever. I’m excited.

schools out

I have no more classes until next semester. Exams start in a week and a half. I feel like I haven’t learnt anything all year. Except maybe the entire script of “V for Vendetta” but I don’t think that counts.

Today I had a day off so I went to uni with Becky.

i got through to the tv auditions and did the tv auditions and the tv auditions were really fun and i might be on tv.
