tina**: you’re tony abbott.

tony: (still standing outside) yes, yes i am.

tina: cool.

(awkward silence)

tony: (still standing outside) good night?

tina: yeah, really good. oh goodness, come in!!

tony: thanks. this is a nice house. how long have you been here?

tina: it’s becks house. they’ve been here for a little while.

tony: oh. it still… smells new.

tina: yeah.

(awkward silence)

and then his daughter came and they left. overall, i think i left a really good impression. not that i care. i mean, he’s a very nice guy, but his political views make me want to throw up a little.

*tony abbott is the federal minister for health, like, for the whole of australia. depending on how much you care about politics (i don’t at all), he’s a pretty big deal.

**god, i was tah-rashed!
